EXCUSES THAT DON'T HOLD UP
- "Technical issue" — technical faults are part of running an airline and are not extraordinary circumstances (Wallentin-Hermann, C-549/07). Compensation is due.
- "Crew shortage / rotation" — crew planning is within the airline's control. Compensation is due.
- "Strike" — strikes by Transavia's own staff are not extraordinary (Airhelp v SAS, C-28/20). Only third-party strikes (airport, ATC) excuse the airline.
- "Knock-on delay from an earlier flight" — rotation delays are the airline's operational choice. Compensation is due.

Claims companies take 25–35% of your payout. AirOwed checks your flight free, then generates the formal demand letter with the exact legal citations. You send it and keep every euro the airline pays.
